Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, and The Little Mermaid

As a mother of two boys, I absolutely love when I receive a request for little girl party treats!

 This month I was in HEAVEN!  

The first, was for a Sleeping Beauty and
 Snow White themed party.  

For the Snow White side, I created Sugar cookies in the shape of apples, marshmallow pops dipped in red chocolate, crispy treats, and these cute little caramel bites, shaped like apples.  I covered them in chocolate, added a pretzel stick and fondant leaf.

 For the Sleeping Beauty side, I made marshmallow pops and crispy treats decorated with pink chocolate and shimmer.  I also made the princess crown sugar cookies and pretzel rods covered in chocolate and pink sugars.

Another request I received was from my client Jennie.  She was celebrating her daughter's birthday with a Little Mermaid themed party.

For this party I made Cake balls covered in chocolate and shimmer dust to resemble pearls.  

I also made Giant Marshmallow pops with sugar, crispy treats, sugar pretzel rods, sea shell sugar cookies, and some chocolate sea shells for the her to decorate cupcakes with.

I am always so impressed with how these parties are together, and I could not wait to share these pictures!

Super bowl and Maggie Sottero

Last weekend I had two things on my mind.

1. Super Bowl cake pop orders

2.  This dress from Maggie Sottero!

 A client of mine, Jenny, requested sugar cookies

 for a bridal shower.  She was hoping I could make them look like the brides dress. 

She also requested cake pops and pretzel rods.

  The theme was demask print using black, red and white.

 Here is what I came up with!

Jennie did a great job putting the table together!  

A look back at November

Last month was INSANE!  I did 32 dozen Pops one week! 

 And around 40 dozen total, for the month!  

I did treats for a holiday boutique, Thanksgiving parties, and a couple birthdays.  I also had a large corporate order.

One of my clients requested treats 
for a dessert table,
 for a 50th Anniversary party.

I made Cake Pops, Mini Cupcakes, 
and Pretzel Rods.  

The theme was Diamonds and Crystals.  I sprinkled the pops with clear sugar crystals, iridescent, and pearl dust.  
The mini cupcakes and pretzel rods were also sprinkled with sugar crystals.

My client did an amazing job decorating the table, everything turned out beautiful!

Another exciting project last month

 was for Free Chapel in Irvine.

They invited Planet Shakers to come sing, 

and asked for my help to create some treats for them!

I was asked to make Cake Pops,

 and sugar cookies.

The theme was all about planet and globes.

  So I created some globe cake pops

 in addition to the traditional pops with blue drizzle.  

So much fun to create, I love a challenge!

Themed Cake Pops

October is shaping up to be a pretty busy month in my  kitchen.

 Lately I have had some fun new challenges sent my way! 

I was asked to create some Hello Kitty pop favors, 

for a birthday party. 

 So much fun!

I was also asked to create pops for a Tangled themed birthday party.

My client gave me the idea, to make the pops look like the lanterns from the movie.

I loved this idea, and the pops turned out so elegant!

Last May, I did some pops and pretzel wands for a wedding.

 A good friend of mine, Kile, was helping to plan his cousins' event. He purchased the goodies for the candy/ dessert table,

 as a wedding present for the bride and groom.  

 I had no idea the wedding was being filmed 

for a new show on style network "Momster of the Bride". 

 Any way, it is only 3 seconds of air time 

(in the last couple minutes of the show), 

but my stuff is on there!
